Medellin - Cocorna Viewpoint - La Danta - Medellin
One of our favorites. This is a fantastic way of getting the most out of 2 days in Antioquia.
Day 1 Medellin - Cocorna Viewpoint - La Danta
We will depart from El Poblado on our motorcycles at 7 am to take Medellin-Bogota Highway. Our first stop will take place at Cocorna viewpoint where we will have a delicious breakfast. We will keep our way to La Danta, Sonson riding through the beautiful curvy road. The last 30 minutes of the ride will be an easy off-road with, once again, stunning landscapes and then we will reach La Danta.
We will get accommodated and prepared to go to 3 amazing waterfalls were we will spend the afternoon swimming and having our lunch by the waterfalls.
After swimming and enjoying the refreshing clear waters, we will get back to our homestay, have our dinner and hang out in the little remote town before going to sleep.
Day 2 La Danta - Medellin
After our breakfast, we will head to 2 different wet and dry caves. We will go through them and learn something about their history and have some swimming in the river before going to our homestay to have our last lunch in La Danta and start our ride back to Medellin. Total estimated time: Leaving 7am, arriving back to Medellin next day by 5pm
