Medellin - Marinilla - Penol - Guatape - Medellin
This is the best way to reach Guatape, one of the most visited places by Medellin visitors. Enjoy the landscapes while leaving Aburra Valley on a motorcycle tour.
We will start our adventure in the Poblado neighborhood where we will take the bikes and head to the Medellin-Bogota highway, which will take us out of Aburra valley. We will keep going until we reach Marinilla (about 1 hour), a beautiful small town where we will take a break for a drink or a coffee at the main square. After Marinilla we will head to el Peñol, where we will stop to have a look at the rock church before we keep going towards the Big Rock where we will stop and you will have the chance to climb about 700 steps to the top of the rock to enjoy its amazing views (Entrance fee not included $20.000) After a boat trip through the lake. We will then have lunch in Guatape town and walk through its colorful streets before heading back to Medellin.
We will make our way back through some beautiful off-roads if you dare!
